REHA, Raul Hernandez, was born in Havana City, Cuba. At age twelve, he joined the Musical Group "Menique", directed by María Alvarez Ríos y Nora García. The group performs in theatres, concert halls, amphitheatres in Havana, and Saturdays live on ICRT (Instituto Cubano de Radio y Television). He studies music at the National School of Arts Teaching (ENIA) and studies the drums.
He accompanies on drums for soloists : Malena Burkes, Pancho Céspedes (Cuban variety), Angel Quintero (Nueva Trova) and latin jazz bands, A Tempo (Guicho Rodríguez), Perspectivo (Hilario Durán, Jorge Reyes, Jorge Luis Chicoy... musicians of Arturo Sandoval), Jane Brunet. He goes to Mexico, to France, and to Spain and takes part to jazz festivals in Jamaica, in Barbados, in Panama, in Curaçao as well as in London. In Salsa-Timba, he plays for Pachito Alonso, la Timba Cubana, Lady Salsa.
He composes and writes songs for the bands:

In France, he plays with Sabor a son (Fino Gómez, Miguel Gómez, Joël Hierresuelo, Carlos Miguel Hernández...), the group P18 of Thomas Darnal (keyboards in La Mano Negra) for several world tours, Victor Lazlo (Loin de Paname - Live), Paris Salsa All Stars (Raúl Paz, Azuquita, Alfredo Rodríguez, Felipe Cabrera, Orlando Poleo, Bobby Rangell), Elvita Delgado Band (Julio Font, Sebastien Jiménez), Labana, Fiesta Cubana, Solside, Madinveda…
From time to time, he plays with Julien Lourau, Lou Bega, William Vivanco, David Linx, Africando, Miguel Gómez Quintet.
He is part of the percussions in the Philippe Lavil album "Ici ou là-bas" and Motimba’s "Monkey vibrations".
